Sedum ‘Gold Mound’ is a recent entry to the gardens of New Zealand. It has soft yellow foliage throughout the year. In spring this foliage is covered with masses of fluorescent golden flowers. It is so bright that you feel sun glasses are required. It forms a spreading mound to 15cm tall by 1.5m in diameter. It will cascade down a rock wall and makes a stunning border plant. Plant in full sun under standard roses or inter-plant on a terraced garden. Looks great under the green of the Griselinea littoralis Canterbury!
